Figurative works on paper.
“For me, watercolours on paper are an intimate form of art, one that can be created anywhere. Whether in a studio, on an aeroplane, in the storage space of an art fair, or on a bench in the forest, a little bit like a love letter can be written anywhere.
With watercolour, my emotions are transferred onto the paper through the softness of each brushstroke. There is a delicate relationship, a love story, between the watercolour and the paper, never totally sure about what’s going to happen next and how one is going to react to the other. In the end, each watercolour delightfully surprises me.”
